A primary focus of TOPPS is to educate students to optimize performance in persons who evidence uniquely shared skill sets within specified cultures (e.g., athletes, police, military, musicians, firefighters). Students learn to develop, prepare, disseminate, and evaluate training and applied research initiatives that are supported by evidence and focused on performance optimization through skill development.
Students may choose to work in Community Service, Training, Program Development, and Evaluation. Responsibilities may include the creation and delivery of innovative programs and workshops, data management and analysis, media and promotional skill development, application of technology, and professional skill development. Educational opportunities are highly dependent on experience, work ethic, and seniority.
